
The BOSK Battery Plant is a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and SK Innovation. It is located in Glendale, Kentucky, and is expected to create 5,000 jobs. The plant will produce lithium-ion batteries for Ford’s electric vehicles.
The BOSK Battery Plant is a $5.8 billion investment. Construction began in December 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2025. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 60 gigawatt-hours (GWh).
