
Cocalico High School is located at 810 South 4th Street in Denver, Pennsylvania. It is the only high school in the Cocalico School District, which serves East Cocalico Township, West Cocalico Township, Denver, and Adamstown in northern Lancaster County.
The Cocalico School District began planning a renovation of Cocalico High School in 2019. The goal of the renovation was to update the school’s facilities and improve the learning environment for students.
The renovation project included a number of improvements. The school received 35 new classrooms, including science labs, computer labs, and special education classrooms, new cafeteria, library, and media center, turf field, track, and tennis courts. The school also received a number of energy-efficient upgrades, including new windows, insulation, and lighting. The renovation project was completed in 2022 and cost $60 million. The project was funded by a combination of state and local funds.
