Palexpo

: Palexpo is a convention and exhibition center located in Le Grand-Saconnex, a municipality of the canton of Geneva, Switzerland. It is the largest convention center in Switzerland and the 14th largest in Europe.

The center was opened in 1981 and has a total area of 102,000 square meters. It has seven exhibition halls, a congress center, a restaurant, and a number of other facilities.

Palexpo is undergoing a major renovation project called Vision 20XX. The project will see the center’s infrastructure upgraded including its electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and its facilities modernized including its exhibition halls, congress center, and restaurant. The project also includes installation of new technology, such as LED lighting and touch-screen displays and improvement of the center’s sustainability, including the installation of solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.
