The Pittsburgh International Airport is located at 1000 Airport Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15231, USA
The airport is currently undergoing a major $1.4 billion construction project to modernize the airport and improve the passenger experience. The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2025.
The main component of the project is the construction of a new landside terminal. The new terminal will be located directly next to the existing airside terminal, eliminating the need for passengers to take a shuttle between the two. In addition to the new terminal, the project also includes the construction of a new parking garage, a multi-modal transportation center, and a new roadway system. The new parking garage will have over 3,300 spaces, and the multi-modal transportation center will provide passengers with access to rental cars, buses, and other transportation options.
