
The main building of Sanders-Brown Center on Aging is located at 800 South Limestone Street in Lexington, Kentucky. The building was completed in 1979 and is named after the Eleanor and John Y. Brown Jr. Foundation, which provided the funding for its construction. The building is home to the center’s administrative offices, research laboratories, and educational facilities.
The building is currently undergoing a major renovation which is expected to be completed in 2024. The renovation will include the addition of new research laboratories, offices, and meeting spaces, renovation of existing research laboratories and offices, installation of new equipment and technology, improvement of the HVAC system and plumbing, and creation of a new public entrance and lobby.
