
The City of Dunedin new city hall in Dunedin, Florida is located at 737 Louden Avenue. It was completed in 2019 and has a total floor area of 39,000 square feet. The building is home to the City’s administrative offices, the City Commission chambers, and a variety of other public spaces.
The new city hall contains a two-story administrative wing, a single-story Commission Chamber, One-Stop Shop for public services, public art component, Solar power and a standby emergency generator. The hall is water and energy efficient and the construction was done using renewable materials. Hence it is consistent with the City’s EPIC goal of environmental sustainability. The Estimated lifespan of the city hall is 75 – 100-years.
The new city hall was designed by the architectural firm of S9 Architecture. The contractor for the project was Brasfield & Gorrie. The total cost of the project was $22 million.
