Evergreen

Project Evergreen is a sustainable development project in Orlando, Florida, USA. The project is a collaboration between the University of Florida and the University of California, Berkeley.

Project Evergreen is a mixed-use development that will include residential, commercial, and research space. The development is designed to be net-zero energy, meaning that it will generate as much energy as it consumes.

The residential component of Project Evergreen will include 1,000 apartments, 200 of which will be affordable housing. The commercial component will include office space, retail space, and a hotel. The research component will include a new campus for the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

Project Evergreen is expected to break ground in 2024 and be completed in 2028.
