Project Name

D’intégration Aquarium

Altanergy Groupe-plans d’intégration Aquarium in Quebec City, Canada is a project to integrate renewable energy into the Aquarium du Québec. The project is being led by Altanergy Power Systems, a Quebec-based renewable energy company.

The project includes the installation of a 1 MW solar photovoltaic system on the Aquarium’s roof and a 100 kW battery storage system. The solar system will generate enough electricity to power about 300 homes, and the battery storage system will allow the Aquarium to store excess energy for later use.

The project is expected to be completed in 2024 and will reduce the Aquarium’s greenhouse gas emissions by about 2,000 tonnes per year. It will also create jobs and boost the local economy.
