UofL West Tower

The UofL West Tower is a seven-story expansion of the UofL Hospital in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in early 2024. The tower will add 240 beds, 4 operating rooms, and a 24-bed observation unit to the hospital. It will also include a new lobby, cafeteria, and gift shop.

The expansion is part of a $144 million project to improve the capacity and services of UofL Hospital. The hospital is currently at capacity, and the expansion will allow it to accommodate more patients. The new tower will also be home to a number of new services, including a heart and vascular center, a cancer center, and a women’s and children’s center.
